I've been meaning to put this on here since last week when we closed on this new beautiful house. It's in Maricopa about 1.7 miles from our current house....same ward and closer to the kids' school.
We are currently cleaning, painting and moving garage items over but hope to be moved in completely within the next 2 weeks. We're taking our time since we are so close and that is wonderful! We can unpack as we go instead of loading everything at once and feeling overwhelmed.
We totally love the new house and the huge back yard! Here's the stats it's about 3100 sq ft 4 bedrooms plus a den, 2.5 baths and 3 car garage on almost a quarter acre. Our current home is gorgeous and we LOVE it too but this one has the 3 car garage & fireplace & granite & jacuzzi tub & soft water & double ovens & a way bigger back yard.
These pictures are prior to us cleaning & painting....so when we are done with all of that and moved in.....I'll take more pictures and post them to our blog.
Looks like we'll be calling Maricopa, AZ our home for good! :o)
Any suggestions on the back yard landscape? It'll be awhile but we'll glady take any suggestions on what we should do with it. :o)

suggestion for the backyard...can you say family swimming pool? We'll all need a place to go in the upcoming summers!! Can't wait to see the house when you're done with it.
I think the pool idea is great! Start saving your money now!! Ha Ha. I hear you on the busy week. This has been a super crazy one for me, it's life. We have a few walls up today~Yay! I'll post pictures on mine soon. Love ya
Yeah before I read their comments I was definatly thinking POOL! Oh how exciting to have such a big house! I wouldn't know what to do with it, I would go broke trying to fill it with NEW furniture. I looks great! I can't wait to see it, but we will probably not want to leave! ;)

Hey Leslie, do you remember when the Crandell's have their Easter picnic? I think it's always the Saturday before Easter, but I'm not sure. I was talking to Grandma today and she is now coming on March 20-26 with Katherine and her grand-daughter (in a van). Anyways, I was trying to figure out when we should go to Mesa and see her. I thought it might be fun to get all the cousins together who live there for a picnic at the park or something on that Friday or Saturday. It's also Carsen's birthday (same day as Calvin's) and Nikki is thinking about doing Chuck E Cheese on one of those days, so we would be there for that too, plus if she has his party there, then my mom will come and Misty and Richie. Nothing is set in stone yet...I just wanted to figure out when grandma will be available to visit so we can plan something. Let me know aoubt the Easter thing if you know and also when you think you'll be available to hang out so we can plan something. Thanks.
Congrats on the new home! We'll need the new address and updated info! So much work, yes. But so worth it as you said. We're so excited for you!
