Will's Surgery is Scheduled finally...

After having to be referred to orthopedic surgeon after orthopedic surgeon to get a wrist/hand specialist Will was finally seen by 2 doctors today. His surgery is scheduled for this Thursday, April 2, 2009. It will require a metal plate, screws & rods because it is so damaged, crushed and basically destroyed. The poor guy has been such a trooper with very little complaint but you can seen the extreme pain in his face and by the paleness in his skin. His arm is still very swollen and has some bruising. The doctors said that he may require more than one surgery, physical therapy with no guarantee of mobility and telling him he will likely have arthritis & chronic pain from this injury. The doctor's couldn't believe the hospital didn't cast it right away either!
