Kenna's 1st Volleyball Game

So yesterday 8/31/09 was McKenna's first ever volleyball game. She's really been practicing hard and because her school is new and hasn't built it's permanent facility yet they are in trailers..they do not have a gym so they have to practice outside in the blazing heat 4 days a week from 3 -5pm. I honestly thought she might want to quit because practicing for that long outside when it's 112 degrees outside just isn't fun for anyone...but not only has she not quit but she hasn't complained at all about it! We are so impressed with her desire to continue on and improve her game. When they have games they use Desert Wind Middle School's gym and so yesterday was the first time they ever played inside on a gym court. Her team is the Pathway Pumas! Yesterday she scored the first point for her team!

Oh yeah baby we won the 2nd game now we're going to three

And here it is the winning score...Pumas beat the Lions 15 to 8 in the 3rd game winning 2 out of 3 games and take the victory on their first ever official game! We were so proud! Kenna although she's on the JV team played the entire time and was never rotated out. Way to go Kenna Benna! No matter win or lose we were sure proud of you and winning was just icing on the cake. Love you sweetie pie!
