Sophie's Room & Crafts

I am finally getting around to posting pictures of Sophia's room the walls are soft pink and I absolutely love the black and white with it. :o) My sister in law Julie made these letter signs for Sophie's room so cute thx!
I made these storage containers and all of the headbands or headwraps below.
Sophia ready to go to sleep...she loves her bed and soft blankets to snuggle with.
Almost as soon as she is laid down she's falls asleep.
Our cute little beautiful baldy

These were taken tonight 6-25-2010

More pictures of her room...I make sure that all of our rooms have a picture of Christ in them it comforts me and helps keep the boogie mans away. :o)
It was harder than I expected to put this vinyl on the wall, I painted the frame but you can't really see the detail.

Will sanded and painted her crib and changing table, they are over 20 years old! I covered her wet wipe case last weekend to match her room.

I added all of these ribbons to this frame that I had painted to add a little more personality to it and tie it to her room more. I have pictures but haven't printed them out yet so the frame is empty for now.

I painted her hamper black and put a ribbon on the lid handle to match her room. She's got lots of shoes most of them from Brandy's little girls put her shoe holder on the door is almost completely full. :o) Her dresser is in her closet.

I got the sewn quilt hanging on the wall from my Aunt Diane in Aztec.
Tons of handmade or painted items in her room because I wanted it all to match and I love doing crafty things. :o)
The daybed bedding didn't have any of the black and white polka dot material on it like her crib bedding so I added that, painted the daybed black, painted the lamp and decorated the shade, put ribbon around the candles then added some bling with craft crystals and I decorated/painted all the storage bins.

She's all set for when she outgrows her crib to keep the same decor going on with a day bed in her room.

The puzzle piece picture frames were pastel in color when they adorned McKenna's nursery walls over 12 years ago.

Oh ya I made the teddy bear's bow also of course everything had to match.

I think it turned out cute and so girly exactly what I wanted...now let's hope she likes it.
