Weird...a bit overwhelmed

So this is my second week of staying home and I feel totally weird and a bit overwhelmed.  I am a creature of habit and don't have a routine yet which is probably the biggest reason I feel this way.  Don't get me wrong I'm totally happy and excited to be home it's just taking me some time to get used to.

It probably doesn't help that I have a list of 63 big projects, am trying to start a new business and develop a website which is taking me way longer than I anticipated, Will started a new brokerage, I'm trying to help do real estate a couple of hours a day,  its 108 degrees outside so that puts a damper on outside things, Calvin & McKenna are bored and Sophia is into everything.  Little cutie pie.

I'm not trying to complain because this is my dream come true.  I guess I just thought I would be on top of things better and have this place whipped into shape already and have my business rolling.

My days fly by, where at work sometimes it seemed to go so slow and I would think of all of the things I could do if I were at home.  Now I'm home and it flies by and I think man I didn't get nearly what I wanted to get done today or what did I do today?  :o(

I hope I figure this out soon.  I'm trying to prioritize like I would at work and not make my list so long maybe that will help.  :o)  I want to enjoy my kids as much as possible before they go back to school August 8th so that's the first priority I need to find a balance and hope I do soon.  I do not like this feeling of being chaotic, out of control, messy, overwhelmed and simply weird.  Praying for help that's for sure!

Hey Les,

Just a thought... I am told that vodka can take paint and nail polish out of carpet. You just pour it on and soak it up with a towel when it has done it's thing. Also, vodka is great for getting those nasty black stains out of the caulking in bathrooms. Another thing you may want to try is Folex. It is a white spray bottle with purple writing that you can get at home depot. That stuff is amazing! you just spray it on, rub the stain with your fingertips and then dab it up with a clean cloth or towel. Hopefully those will at least help the carpet and unholstery.
Good luck!

Love ya,
Heidi

Hang in there. It's just a huge change for ya! When kids get back to school you will get a routine and then you will love it!

I didn't know you quit! I'm so happy for you! And I know exactly what you're going through. I had all the same feelings after I quit to stay home with B. And I was only working part time! What I finally decided to do was focus on what I had gotten done instead of what I hadn't and it would spur me on and then I'd get a whole bunch done...fast! Try it!

I just realized you're not an "invited reader" on my blog. What the crap?! Send me which email you want me to use and I'll get that fixed...
