We left Friday afternoon after Kent's funeral and drove through the night arriving in Lehi at 3-4am. Bless Will for driving the entire way and never complaining. We totally surprised Mom Saturday morning. She thought she was going to out to eat breakfast but instead came across the street to Brandy's house my sister and when they walked in we came down from the stairs and yelled surprise...she couldn't contain her excitement for about 10 minutes. Brandy & Tyson made us a great breakfast and we had a great morning. Later that evening she didn't know that Brandy had planned a big surprise birthday party and yes she was totally surprised. We had lots of family and friends along with lots of great food & music. About an hour into the party she had another surprise visitor....Elvis came and wow that was so funny! We enjoyed cake & pie and had a great time! My Mom looked like she had a great time but told us that her heart couldn't bare another surprise. Brandy had a professional photographer so as soon as she gets the pictures I'll post some.
Sunday Brandy had to work doing, "The Spoken Word" a devotional every Sunday with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir on BYU Channel. So Mom & I & Tyson & Kyah went to church. Will stayed home with the other kids mostly because we didn't bring church clothes and because Kenna wasn't feeling well. Brandy joined us for Relief Society being done with work and because the Bishopric had a very special meeting for all of the women regarding Pornography. They had the meeting with the men the week before and if you weren't present they were going to have a one on one meeting with you so I think that was good incentive for all to show up Sunday. Their ward had the best Sunday school teacher ever I loved the lesson and really enjoyed church.
We then came home and didn't do much of anything just layed around then I made tacos for dinner as Tyson had requested. My Mom made some awesome zucchini bread so we ate that after dinner. The food tasted that much better after fasting all day. :o) Will & Tyson gave Mom a blessing last night for her surgery today and gave Brandy one also as she is been pretty sick.
My Mom came over this morning to Brandy's right before she headed to the hospital for her surgery. She left crying and all the kids were crying except for the baby Kyah. My Mom is such a sweetie and I just love her so much! We are waiting for Jim to call us and let us know when she is out of surgery and when we can come and visit her. Will also promised the kids that we would go to Cabella's today so they are excited about that. It's been a great weekend, the weather has been beautiful and I will update on my Mom's condition and pictures of the party.

Thanks for the update. I've been wondering about you all. Let us know how the surgery goes. I'm glad you guys were able to surprise your wonderful mom!
How cool!! I bet your mom was so happy. I had no idea she was due to have surgery. I hope all goes well. We'll keep her in our prayers.
I wish we could've been there, how fun! Glad you all traveled safely, I hate when people drive at night! Please send me a text or a quick call and let me know how your mom is doing! I never hear anything, hope all goes well. Love ya.
I'm SO glad that everything went well. We had family photos scheduled in the fall leaves that evening so we had to miss the surprise. We wanted to be there though! Sounds like the party and the surgery were both huge successes! We have been praying for her.
