Thursday as soon as I got home from work the kids were ready to make some sugar cookies for their class parties the next day at school. I thought oh no problem McKenna does this all of the time with the Betty Crocker mixes....but we didn't have any. Because I've never made sugar cookies and frosting for them from scratch I didn't think it would be that big of a deal. Wow I was so wrong....that is a lot of fun messy work! :O) The kids had fun decorating up until it was time for bed and came down stairs the next morning so amazed that the rest of them were baked, frosted, decorated and packaged for them already to take to school. We made big ones for McKenna's class and little ones for Calvin's class. I even took some to work the next day and we have some for today Valentines! :o)

Cute cookies. We just had the kind you pull out of the package, pop them in the oven and done! Maybe I'll try from scratch next year. Good job. Happy Valentines Day!
You both did better than me....mine were already packaged from walmart!! haha!! I guess at least I bought some! :)
Super cute cookies. I have an awesome recipe if you want it let me know but I know they are a lot of hard work.
