Please be totally honest with me even if you think it might hurt my feelings.....do I look old enough in this picture well in any picture for that matter but especially this one to be the Mother of 3 Children with the oldest one being Will my husband who is 4 years older than me?
This is the second time someone has thought Will was MY SON. I had to get an import connection on my computer today by one of our software companies and so as the IT guy gained access on my computer screen from his over in California he says seeing this picture on my background, "Oh is this your family?" I say, "yes my husband and kids." He says, "so you have three children, 2 boys and one girl what a cute family you have." I say, "thank you but we just have two kids." He says, "OH I thought that the one on the bottom was your son...he is a young looking man." I say, "yes he does look young for an almost 40 year old husband." He says, "well he is a young man compared to me as I'm 58 years old and have college age children."
As I said before this is the second time someone has asked me if my husband was MY son from this picture.....so do I look old enough be his Momma????? The other guy from the technology department was in our office a few months ago and looked at the same picture and asked me the same thing and he was face to face with me! When I told him no it was my husband he says that he thought I was way too young to have a son bigger than me but that Will just didn't look old enough to be the Dad in the picture so he assumed I was the Mom. Please be honest....I can take it.....I will immediately hide the picture and start saving for botox or something! I don't want to look 50 years old already. :O) I know Will looks very young but really his Mother? I'm just very curious if I look like his Mom...it's eating away at me and I need to know the truth not just the nice answer. :o)

I think you both look like kids. There is no way I would ever mistake you for being his mother...but it does look like it could be a sibling picture!!
Consider the source...both times, it was men who made the mistake...they have no sense of age whatsoever.
Those guys are high. There is no way you look like Wills mom. You both look very young. Will has such a baby face that in some of the pictures he looks like a teen...but, so do you. You are gorgeous and look about 25. Don't start saving for botox...maybe you should buy those guys some glasses!

Just take it as a compliment about Will (what nearly 40 year old wouldn't love to be told they look young?) and ignore the rest. I'm sure the poor guy was mortified by his blunder.
Actually at church on Sunday I saw only part of your face and I wondered who that teenager was talking to Ceely? And when I got the whole face I laughed because it was Leslie the whole time. I'm serious, that really did go through my mind. I'm not just making it up so you feel better :)
Here is my HONEST opinion... I think that whoever said that to you is smokin' crack!!! There is absolutely NO WAY you look old enough to be his mom. You shouldn't feel self consious about how you look. You should feel confident, because you are gorgeous! No need for botox! :) I've always thought you were very pretty. Just ignore those guys. <3

There is no possible way that you could look like Will's Mother! You both look so young! I am shocked that those people would even ask such a question. It's like one of the forbidden questions like "when are you due?"...you just don't ask! You really have nothing to worry about. You and Will have two great looking kids and you both look very young. No worries!
O PLEASE! They are ignorant. They must be very miserable and insecure to say something that stupid! You're young and beautiful, they must be jealous!

I seriously was cracking up the whole time reading that!!! That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard....he in no way shape or form looks like he could be your kid!!!! People say the stupidest things.....You always look great!
Are you honest?! First of all, no way do you look old enough to have a son looking like Will, no matter how old he is, second of all, who in their right mind would think it appropriate to lay on top of their son for a family pic! Which in this case it's totally appropriate because he's your HUSBAND! I am a firm believer that stupid should hurt...
